In keeping with our theme of refugee support, our Mitzvah Day theme this year will also be focusing on the refugee experience. On May 5th we ask adult members of the congregation to share their stories of being a refugee or having family members who have been refugees in the Holocaust, or from other experiences. We will be engaging religious school students in activities targeted at supporting refugees in our community. Please contact Social Action (social_action@sinaict.org) if you would like to be a part of this experience. We want to hear your story and provide our congregation with the opportunity to understand that refugees come in many forms, from many different places all over the world, and all over history. We appreciate any and all participation.
